GU Cast/APCCC Travel Awards 2024

Three lucky trainees are on their way to Lugano in April 2024!!

Every two years the world’s leading prostate cancer experts descend on the beautiful town of Lugano near the Swiss/Italian border, to consider the hottest topics in prostate cancer. The Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC) is renowned for the quality of the plenary sessions, and the panel of questions which the panel votes on to see if they can reach consensus on the most contentious areas of prostate cancer today.

GU Cast were delighted to make three travel awards available for trainees interested in prostate cancer to attend this outstanding meeting. The lucky winners were:

  • Dr Cristian Udovicich (VIC): Radiation Oncology Trainee

  • Dr Alice Thomson (VIC): Urology Trainee

  • Dr Sean Ong (NSW): Urology Trainee
